Aaron Anderson Persian Turquoise Sandcast Bracelet size 7"
Aaron Anderson is a renowned Navajo silversmith who works almost exclusively as a sandcast artist carving one-of-a-kind molds to make his creations. He does very fine tufa carving and uses the finest natural turquoise in his work.
This bracelet is set with a high-domed oval of natural, untreated Persian turquoise. Aaron carved two clenched fists into this design and made a beveled edge on this cuff which, after freeing the cuff from its mold, he marked with grooves using a cold chisel. The background of this cuff is beautifully uniform in its fine stippling. This is a unique design with a particularly fine stone which evidences the type of impeccable workmanship seen in all of Aaron's work.
