Anthony Skeets Red Spiny Oyster Cluster Bracelet size 6 3/4"

Skeets, Anthony

Anthony Skeets is a prolific Navajo silversmith who works in the Traditional Revival style of smithing. He is best known for the cluster bracelets he makes, but he makes a whole range of jewelry in traditional style from earrings to concha belts.

We've been buying Anthony's large cluster bracelets for over fifteen years and we've never seen him do this design before. This impressive cluster bracelet features six interlocking triangles of red spiny oyster with trapezoids to the left and right of the triangles. The cluster is surrounded by 28 rounds of matching red spiny oyster. The cuff consists of five heavy-gauge lengths of triangle wire spread wide behind the clusters and tapering to the terminals where the triangle wire is fused. Splendid color with nicely patterned striations in the shell settings. Very solidly constructed with good weight to the silver and excellent workmanship.

Hallmarked AS and stamped Sterling inside.
