Elvira Bill Deep-Stamped Sterling Bracelet size 6 1/2"

Bill, Elvira

Elvira Bill is the daughter of Emerson Bill and Nora Tahe Bill. She is also the sister of Jerald Tahe. Like Jerald, she learned to smith silver from her parents and makes bracelets in the same style as her parents. Some of her bracelets are made from a single  thickness of sheet silver and stamped very deeply, while others are made from two layers of sheet silver and the design is cut out of the overlayer which is soldered to the foundational layer of silver.

This bracelet is built on a foundation layer. Two lengths of thick Sterling form the beveled edges decorated with deep stamping. The center of the bracelet has a length of heavy-gauge twisted Sterling wire forming the equatorial center. Elvira decorated the inside of this hefty cuff with stampwork. This is very heavy and will need to fit you well to be comfortable. Know your measured size; you'll need to have a wrist that measures 6 3/8" or 6 1/2" to fit this properly. It's so thick there's no bending it to size. But if your wrist is the right size, you will fall in love with this!
