Harry Morgan Chinese Turquoise Ring size 5 1/4

Harry Morgan, probably more than anyone, has been responsible for the "old pawn" look in modern Navajo jewelry. His trademark of "antiquing" his pieces to give them a soft patina and aged look has been widely emulated by a whole generation of Navajo silversmiths. Harry died in the autumn of 2007.

In the spring of 2007, we bought a group of rings from Harry Morgan. Some of the rings are hallmarked, some are not; all are done in basically the same style. He set three stones of Chinese turquoise in smooth bezels. The shank splits into three narrower bands before attaching to the ring back.

About six months after we bought these rings Harry Morgan died. We put these away at that time and are just listing this group of rings in September of 2016.

This particular ring is not hallmarked.
