Lupe Lovato Hand-turned Graduated Kingman Turquoise Rolled Beads with Spiny Oyster Tabs

Lupe Lovato is a Santo Domingo Pueblo jeweler who is best-known for his gorgeous necklaces of handmade beads. We have been offering his pieces at Chacodog.com since 2002. His beads are well-known for their smooth transition in size.

These are hand-turned rolled beads (rounded edges) of stabilized Kingman turquoise and orange spiny oyster strung on beadalon (nylon-sleeved braided stainless steel wire). Five thick graduated tabs of orange spiny oyster "corn" highlight the center of the strand. This is a perfectly graduated, smooth strand of masterfully made beads in a gorgeous shade of blue which is mottled by matrix.

Kingman beads: 1/8" to 1/2" diameter

Spiny oyster tabs: 5/8" to 7/8" long; 1/8" to 1/4" thick
