Tenorio, Leewayne

Leewayne Tenorio is the son of Luwanna Tenorio and Chris Nieto from Santo Domingo Pueblo. Leewayne is 12 years old and learning to string beads properly from his father, Chris Nieto. He uses beads made by Chris to learn proper stringing. The beads used are remnants of beads made for Chris's necklaces which represent extra beads not needed for a given necklace. Chris saves these beads and Leewayne uses them in various combinations to develop his sense of composition and his stringing technique. All the beads used by Leewayne, therefore, are handmade beads of excellent quality.
