Smith, Herman

Herman Smith is a Navajo smith who mostly works in the Traditional Revival style, lending his bracelets an old-style look with a lightly brushed finish and careful oxidation. His stampwork is extremely precise and he uses heavy-gauge Sterling in his work. He mostly makes bracelets, rings and pins and uses fine turquoise, coral and lapis in his traditional designs. More recently he has been creating contemporary design pieces with channel inlay.
